until I checked my rear subframe for positioning. Even though I had a recent four wheel alignment, the rear end would break free even in a straight line. I used reference points on the chassis to measure the position of the subframe. (There is still some play as to how you can finangle it's location). I noticed it was slightly out of square. After an adjustment, I noticed the handling became much more predictable. You might want to check to see if that isn't at least a contributor to a lot of poor wet-weather traction.
